After the success in Basel at the International Contemporary Art Fair “The artbox project Basel 1.0”, the Italian artist Giorgio Sorel presents “L’antro del vulcano” in the Parthenopean Capital.
This is the fil rouge that links the four great artworks belonging to the Abstract – Expressionist movement: “L’antro del vulcano”, “L’antro del vulcano”, (Installation), “Pesci in libertà” and “L’albero del poeta”.

Giorgio Sorel was born in Bologna in 1939 and currently resides and works in the province of Piacenza. An intense and dramatic artist that always faced with great passion and sensitivity issues related to Man and Existence; touching themes faced with expressive and expressionist on the human solitude and on great events that marked history.
